‘A woman carrying a water pot’ image is a constant African stereotype but it still rings true to this very day. Both in the city and countryside do people still have to fetch water, but who is to say if that is a bad thing. The activity of fetching water has informed many a beautiful images and ‘njeri’  is my contribution to that timeless errand.
