sit

I had much to think about when creating this piece. Because of its location, it’s the first thing you see when you open the door and look up a flight of stairs. This means it has to last the test of time and hopefully enchant a viewer every time it is viewed. Was trying to create something with a timeless feel, inspired by a piece of writing that twists the saying “don’t just sit there, do something” to “don’t just do something, sit there”. Home should be a place of peace I think, an escape from the chaos of the outside world.
